G4S Technology

Software and Code Ltd was contracted by G4S Technology to develop a plugin for their CCTV and Access Control software. The purpose of the plugin was to integrate a third party application (from Genetec) into G4S's system to enable G4S to offer additional features provided by the third party to their customers.
 

The existing system from G4S was a desktop application written in Win32 C++ with MFC. The plugin we developed was therefore a C++ based plugin utilizing MFC, Win32, TCP/IP and STL. The plugin made use of COM to provide the interface between the propriety system and the third party system.

The project was successfully delivered to G4S under time and budget, enabling G4S to increase their offering in CCTV and Access Control systems for many of their global clients.
